Maria Eugenia Butini is a pharmaceutical technologist. She graduated in advance obtaining her PharmD degree in Industrial Pharmacy from the University of Camerino, Italy in 2015 and soon after she licensed to exercise the profession as pharmacist. During her tenure at the University of Camerino, she worked on the development of innovative biodegradable injectable biomaterials with potential clinical and pharmaceutical applications such as drug delivery, tissue engineering and regeneration of cartilage and bone tissues. She also joined the hospital pharmacy at Azienda Ospedaliera Universitaria Ospedali Riuniti di Ancona as an intern and acquired knowledge in medical products distribution, management of antiretroviral and antiviral therapies and reconstitution of galenic products for chemotherapy. In October 2015, she joined the research group of Dr. Andrej Trampuz.
